Acem Reis Cami – Bursa

Arap Dede Cami olarak da anılmaktadır. Fatih’in hocalarından Bedrettin Mahmut bin Mehmet Acem (öl.1516) tarafından yaptırılmıştır. 7.32 x 7.25 metre iç ölçülerinde olan caminin girişinde 2.71 metre derinliğinde bir son cemaat yeri bulunmaktadır. Ana mekanı büyük bir kubbe ile örtülen caminin duvarları üç sıra tuğla ve bir sıra kesme taş kullanılarak örülmüştür. Son cemaat yeri ortada dar, yanlarda geniş üç bölüm halindedir. Orta göz sivri kemer altında Bursa kemerli, yan gözler sivri kemerlerle ayak ve yan duvarlara bağlanmıştır. Orta bölme beşik, yanlar, üstü kurşunla kaplı aynalı tonozla örtülüdür. Cami iki yol arasında kalmıştır. İyice küçülen haziresinde ise günümüze ancak 3-4 mezar kalmıştır. Kaynak: Bursa İl Kültür ve Turizm Müdürlüğü

The Acem Reis Mosque

Also known as the Arab Dede Mosque. It was built by one of Fatih the Conqueror’s hodja Bedrettin Mahmut bin Mehmet Acem (who died in 1516). There is a meeting place for the latecomers in the entrance of the mosque of a depth of 2.71 meters and which is 7,32 x 7,25 meters of internal scale. The main area is covered with a large dome and the walls of the mosque are built using three rows of bricks and a row of cut stones. The meeting place for the latecomers is narrow in the middle and three sections wide on the sides. The middle compartment is covered with cradle, sides, and a mirror vault covered with lead.
