Yeşil Külliyesi – Bursa

Bursa’da kendi adına yaptırdığı Yeşil Türbe’ye defnedilen Mehmed Çelebi’nin külliyesi, Timur sonrası yıkılan Bursa’ya yeni bir hayat vermiştir. Türbenin turkuaz rengindeki İznik Çinilerinin renginden ötürü Yeşil Külliyesi denilmektedir. Cami, türbe,medrese,hamam ve imaretten oluşan Yeşil Külliye’nin diğerlerinden farkı, bu yapıların serbest olarak yerleştirilmiş olmasıdır. Timur sonrası harap olan Bursa ve Osmanlı Devleti, Yeşil Külliye ile birlikte hem mimaride hem de kültürel ve sosyal bakımdan yeniden şahlanmış ve şairin dediği gibi; Bir sihirli el Osmanlı’yı yeniden yapılandırmaya başlamıştır. Bir gamlı musikiyle kanatlandı kuytular, Fecrin şadırvanında yıkanmaktadır sular, Tekrar baharı giydiriyor bu sihirli el.

The Yeşil complex

The complex of Mehmed Çelebi, buried in the Green Tomb that he built in his name in Bursa, gave a new life to Bursa, which was destroyed after Timur. The turban is called the Green Complex because of the turquoise Iznik tiles. The difference is that the Green Complex is composed of a mosque, a tomb, a madrasa, a hamam and an imaret and there all are places freely. Bursa which had been ruined after Timur, and the Ottoman Empire were rebuilt both in architecture and in cultural and social terms with the Green Complex, and as the poet said; A magic hand has begun to restructure the Ottoman Empire.
