Issız Han – Bursa

Osmanlı Sultanı Yıldırım Bayezid döneminden kalmadır. Restore edilen eserin, kapı üstündeki kitabesinde “hayırlı işler ve Allah rızası için” 1396 yılında inşa edildiği belirtilmektedir. İstanbul-Susurluk Irmağı-Uluabat Gölü güzergahında, tarihte nehir taşımacılığının dinlenme ve konaklama üslerinden biri olarak vatandaşlara ücretsiz hizmet veren Issız Han, Osmanlı döneminin güzel bir kervansaray örneğidir. Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından 2008 yılında yap-işlet-devret sistemiyle restore edilmiş ve 9 odalı otel ve restoran olarak kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. The Issız Han (The deserted inn)

The inn is from the period of the Ottoman Sultan Yıldırım Bayezid. It is stated that the restored building was built in 1396 “for good works and for God’s sake” on the inscription above the door. Issız Han is a beautiful caravanserai of the Ottoman era, providing free service to the citizens as one of the resting and accommodation bases of the river transportation in the Istanbul-Susurluk River-Uluabat Lake route. It was restored by the Directorate General of Foundation in 2008 with a build-operate-transfer system and started to be used as a hotel and restaurant with 9 rooms.
